for the last 2 days ive being haveing problems with this game im playing the non steam version and when i started playing united states navy enterprise vs japan (1/5 battles completed )

im playing the mission watch tower patrol patrol the game is not loading any enamy carriers for me to id infact ive had several problems on the privious mission when you are supposed to bomb the jap carriers they dont allways seem to sink and when they do the v icon is still prescent and im unable to complete the level im also getting stuck on the screen where the aircrafts are on the carrier and you have to choose witch aircraft you wont after pressing continue the game freezes and if i keep clicking the continue tab the game crashes i dont think its the trainer as i also get the same problem when the trainer is not loaded is anyone else haveing this problem i seem to be stuck in a loop i dont really wont to start a new game as im quite far into the game

It is not intended to survive the mission. I am assuming it is the mission where you are to damage the 4 Japanese Carriers? I had the same issue and I resolved it when I went in pure vanilla and damage (not destroyed) all 4 carriers BUT THEN ALLOWED MYSELF TO BE SHOT DOWN. Then the mission progresses and I am in the Bravo Squadron (SBD dive bombers) and you get to sink 2 of the carriers. If you use the health option on the trainer, you can never get past the Torpedo Bomber section of the mission.

if only cheat happens existed in history we could've gotten past that stage with health mode enabled!
