I D/L the demo for Torchlight last night, and,i have to say i was very impressed! A very fun game.
So,i want to D/L the full version and TL2. And,i had a couple of concerns. First should D/L it from Steam? I've been reading some posts around CHU and saw some people had problems D/L it from Steam.
And,this new Editor Does anyone know if it works with the Steam version? I have seen in the past that trainers/editors sometimes are not Steam friendly.
I also have the options of D/L it from The Runic Home website or the perfectworld Server. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Our trainer and editor are both written for the Steam version.

Link For direct from Runic and Perfect World, both non-STEAM version. I wouldn't touch Perfect World though. People trying to get their copies unlocked have problems getting the codes from PW.
Now the major is problem people are having is people trying to create Runic Accounts so they can play Multi-Player, however this does NOT affect LAN and Single Player. This isn't Diablo III after all!
As things stand, I would either buy direct from Runic, STEAM, or wait a couple of more days for things get settled down at Runic if you plan on playing Multiplayer from the start.

Thank you PWIZ and Graeystone for your quick reponses. You guys here at CHU are great! I think i'm going to either D/L from Runic or Steam. It doesn't really bother me to create a mulit-player account,as i will be playing Single Player only so i can make use of the Editor/Console cheats.

I pre-bought my copy from Steam and received Tourchlight One for free. I got the pre-load the other day of Tourchlight Two. The day of launch I downloaded a 115? MB file to make it go. Have logged a few hours with and without the trainer. I have enjoyed every minute of it so far.
