Darksiders II Message Board  

Sadly while playing I've encountered this bug:

Since I have no intention of restarting 20 hours of gameplay, and THQ is not bothering to fix it, apparently, I'm asking here:
was anyone able to bypass it or fix it in any way?

same **** happened to me I just start over again noticed that many bugs were fixed and I had to same things on the menu where you can see the death grip and the other things.

How to FIX Phasewalker BUG in Darksiders 2
1.Download this archive (Notepad++ & dssave0) : ge.tt/6JEunsM/v/0
2.Unrar, go to Notepad++ folder, open notepad++.exe
3.Open/drag “dssave0.dsav” (included in archive) in Notepad++
4.In Notepad++, click on Plugins Tab>HEX-Editor>View in HEX (press CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+H)
5.Search (CTRL+F) these code: 47 65 61 72 and in right side you will see Gear
6.Select and Copy the codes all the way down from Gear(47 65 61 72) just before PrimaryWeapon
7.Open your dssave0 from your Darksiders 2 savegame and REPLACE the entire code from Gear to PrimaryWeapon with the codes you copied at step 6
8.Hit the Save button
9.Repeat the steps 6 and 7 with all your “dssave0,1,2,3,4,5,6” located in C:\Users\Danutz\Documents\My Games\Darksiders2 and Steam folder > userdata > random number folder > is there a folder numbered 50650
