The only thing that bugged me was the feeling when it came to the controls, it doesn't feel natural

Personally, I love this game, especially the fighting!!! Cinematics look very cool, gets a little getting used to controls, but overall a very pleasant experience

I think the game is really good. The exploration is very fun. But I just hate how hard guns are to come by. I know this game is more of a martial arts game but damn, this game lacks in the gun department big time. More gun play would make this game amazing IMO. I also wish you could eat at any vendor selling food, buy clothing at any vendor selling clothes, etc. It feels like a decent knock off of GTA IV with martial arts mixed in. Would also be nice if you could start off creating your own character, male or female, design their face and body, and give them starting attributes to add more RPG elements to it. Would be cool if there were book stores that sold books that taught you new fighting moves vs the current level up system. I think it's worth the money but not if you're on a budget. Just wait for the price to come down a bit before buying. I absolutely hate it when developers put in difficult anti-cheat checks on a single player game like this. Sad when software Nazis won't even let you cheat your own game these days. Thankfully this site specializes in anti-anti cheat systems and made us a trainer to cheat it.

Hi, I'm seriously thinking of purchasing this game via Steam. However I do have a question....? I don't think my graphics card is up to the job ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2
I was under the impression that I need DX11 and Pixel and Vertex 5.0 where as mine is 4.1 and DX10
Pretty certain that the rest of the computer is OK Thanks Mark

This is the minimum requirements from Square-Enix for Sleeping Dogs.
OS: Windows Vista or Windows 7 Processor: Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or Althon X2 2.7 GHz RAM: 2GB Graphic card: DirectX 10 or 11 compatible Nvidia or AMD ATI card, ATI Radeon 3870 or higher Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT or higher. Your ATI HD 4870 x2 should be fine to run it. This game supports DX10 and DX11 cards. Hope that helps

Cheers for that I built the rig ages ago and I really don't want to upgrade it just yet, see if I can hang out for a few more years.... Win 7 x64, Intel Core2 Quad Q9550 @ 2.83Ghz, 4gb ram.
I've read nothing but positive reviews about the game on here and other sites. Although it is a bit buggy? Hence all the patches in a very short time frame I suppose. Don't game companies test their games before releasing them anymore?
