i have solved the unlimited money unable to work issue
do the following steps exactly
1) move everything ( your characters ) in this directory c:users/your name/saved games/Ascaron Entertainment/sacred 2 to another directory
2) delete everything in this directory
3) start the cheat
4) start a new game and it will ask you to select new character
5) setup your character and begin the game
6) once in game, activate the cheat
7) press num 2 and you should hear and see the millionare achievement milestone ( only this confirms that unlimited money is valid )
8) repeat 1 for other characters, you can rename the saved game number to avoid naming conflict or go to cheat happen saved game director to download the characters that i have test this with

This is hardly a 'solution'.

I have the Community Patch 130 (and .65.2), and pretty much nothing works.

Gold: shows you have a lot, but you do not. You cannot spend beyond what you had, and upon reload it is as if nothing ever happened.

Almost-Level up: you level up, but not really. Upon reload, you have gained nothing.

Etc. Etc. Etc.

Would it be possible to update the trainer to CM130? (Is that even the issue?) I'm not sure how you guys do this sort of thing, but would assume you have virtual machines with installed games on them, to update as needed.

My desire is to cheat a buyer character: being forced to item farm just spoils things, IMHO.
