The gold cheat doesn't seem to be working in the steam version. I carefully follow the instructions but nothing happens to increase the amount of gold. Every other option works fine.

I've got the same problem. There is no trainer activated sound so I don't know what it is. All the other options work fine.

I'm also dealing with this problem. Everything else works fine, but when I try to use the gold cheat it doesn't work.

I plus one this, the gold cheat will not work at all... No sound, no action rest of the trainer options work.
