I can't even buy it on steam... Region Locked, gonna wait for the Boxed version to be out on game stores.
I don't get it, why are there Region Locks on digital downloads?

    I've ordered from:
    uk.gamesplanet.com/buy-download-pc-games/Prototype%28R%29-2-3253-13.html

    Though, I've yet to receive my serial/key, so I can't pre-load.

Are you saying i can buy Region-Locked steam games via gamesplanet and add them to steam?
    does that work?
is there any risk to doing that?

If the region-locking is simply for release date, then yes.
I've added it to my account, and apparently it will be released tomorrow noon for me (and everyone who isn't an American).

    lol, long quotes.

i see, well that isn't the case for me, i can for some reason open the Prototype 2 page on Steam, however Add to Cart isn't even visible to me.
completely region-locked, can't buy it, nor smell it (online)

just gotta wait till tomorrow, i think it'll be available on the shelves

i was just hoping gamesplanet would be an alternative, i guess it's not.

I prefer the steam version of just about everything. Steam has been very very good for my needs.
    It's all in the......whoops!
