Too bad, the lame tutorial & complex control & bad AI makes this games failed miserably to achieve huge success thus sealing the end of its genre... and nowadays, only indie devs still want to make this kind of games, while the big one devs only want to make either FPS or RPG and mostly MMO too since they think every games should be online
Completed with the dead of THQ surely seal that all RTS games we would get in recent future would be either botched CnC games from EA or DRM laden & must online kind like Starcraft series or bugfest laden Total War series
Indeed, and what's exceedingly terrible, is that SEGA, the same people who bought Creative Assembly and have proceeded to rape the Total War franchise for all the DLC it's worth, they also bought the assets from the dissolution of THQ to now have Company of Heroes and Warhammer 40k under their complete control!
-=IF=- SEGA has the remnants of Relic (the developer under THQ's banner for the Warhammer 40k and COH) do their job as usual, and make great games as they always have, then I may start to despise SEGA a little bit less, but I have absolutely no confidence in that happening.
SEGA wants to be like EA so badly that they will happily ruin franchise after franchise solely to get a few more DLC packs out...
I want very much to be optimistic about the future of Relic and Creative Assembly games, but so long as they are enslaved to a publisher/developer like SEGA their works will be bastardized into a shadow of what they otherwise would have been.
