People wouldn't know quality gaming even if it came and slapped them in the face.
Just sayin'
You mean like how we got slapped with the DRM? And I don't know who has been slapping you, but if you're not disoriented and stumbling around the room after a slap, it's not a proper slap. So if quality gaming came around and issued slaps, I'd play nothing but terrible games.
On-topic, right. D3 isn't a terrible game. It's not even a bad game. But it was made by terribly bad people that know exactly how hard they can wring their customers' necks without losing any of them.

I don't find the protection scheme intrusive, so im not one of the moaning massive out there.
Again when people moaned about it having this kind of protection they just moaned about it when they finally got it and wanted to go back to physical media again, but again it was mostly by the warez users who complained when they finally realised that online protection = harder to get your free copy. And it was all evident with Assassin's Creed 2, for over a month people cried about it.
