Worst game of the year should definitely go to Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City.
True that even with all of the extensive alpha and beta testing the game sill had bugs, but Blizzard at least addressed some of the issues. What the hell did Capcom do after releasing ORC? Nothing. Not one damn thing.
Rumor has it, it was broken when shown at last year's E3, and those same bugs continue to plague gamers today.

worst game of the year....omg...
i know the game isnt the game most ppl wanted...but its far beyond to be the worst game of the year. the game is its own victim, the expactations were to high, so it was impossible to fullfill them.
so, most ppl are just disappointed that diablo 3 isnt the game they expacted...beside that, the game surely have some balancing "problems" , but nothing worth to be worst game of the year...

Diablo 3 isn't the worst game I've played this year, but it's pretty damn close. It was clearly designed for the World of Warcraft crowd, and don't get me started on the 'always online' crap. I had to restart the game about 50 times because my internet connection dropped for a few mins.
I can't believe I waited all these years for this over-hyped piece of crap. What a waste of $60. If it wasn't for Starcraft 2, I would probably give up on Blizzard!
