true, it could be a patch that came with the last stand DLC for FiD, or it is just one of those rare ninja patchs, but all that I know for certain, is that it defo wont allow me to use the current trainer

Yeah I just restarted the Steam client and it started updating a few games, including this one so it seems it was indeed a normal patch and nothing DLC related as I first thought.
- Add missing coop/free game maps - Hide hair issue - Disable autosave in coop/free gamemode - Loading screen background image issue - AI and soundbox issue - Network UPnP issue - Several small fixes - Wide screen issue on LAN/Internet menu - Coop/free game mode Shaikan upgrade issue - Coop/free game mode map minimaps + Add coop/free game mode for single player mode + Steamworks framwork Upgrade + Colorblind support
