Spore: Galactic Adventures Message Board  

I don't know if it's supposed to do so, but for some reason the steam trainer only says activated when F1 is pressed in the main menu, while the options remain quiet when pressed, I've turned off my AV, yet no audio response from the trainer...

I've tried to redownload the trainer, same problem no sounds and some options fail to work

I think it's a well known issue already, the problem is the fact that both exe's have the same name. at least i see that as a problem, somehow both trainers work for the main spore exe, but the spore trainer won't work with the spore expansion exe. When you activate the spore trainer for the expansion when you get it running, just to have invicible ship regardless of captain cheats, you crash the game. or it visually freezes to black screen if you activate it while loading screen, and pink screen if you minimize the game first to activate it.

Nobody complains about spore from somewhere else because spore on steam is good, i love the trainer for the original spore from steam, i'm glad that works at least. I'm not worried about the trainer saying activated, or not on either trainers, i ust would love to have them work on the galactic adventures trainer, sound or no sound

Just so you know, the main supports are focused on steam versions and retail versions, otherwise it would cost them too much money to focus on versions released by other companies.

2 years later, and no updates on this. Just recently got this game, and loving it. However, the Galactic Adventures Trainer doesn't work properly, so cant even get past my first real adventure as captain as my herbivore stance is no match for battle starting out as a captain with no upgrades yet. Seriously regretting being a herbivore....
