Hey all.
I know the guys are busy with tons of new releases (much appreciated, btw) so naturally, older games get retired. Anyways, i decided to try and hammer out a trainer for the (apparently) modified 1.0004 Steam version of Lost Planet. Seeing as this is my first attempt at a trainer *ever*, i may have bitten off more than i can chew so if anyone has tips and pointers they'd be really appreciated. And hey, if i actually manage to make something functional, i'll share it with the community (with the staff's blessing, of course).
Quick question to those who know: just how tough is Lost Planet to train? Am i not moving forward 'cause i'm wet behind the ears or because it's a tough bastard and i'm screwed already?
First thing i've tried to tackle is ammo and reload. It's easy enough finding the general ammo and eventually the gun ammo addresses, but those keep changing on me. No sweat, i went looking for pointers and seemed to find them only to have those change on me too. Am i doing this wrong? Am i tackling the problem from wrong angle?
I'm using CoSMOS 6.2, MHS, Art Money and Quick Memory Editor.

IIRC (if I remember correctly) it uses code shifting, which requires a bit of knowledge to defeat.
Not the easiest to try and train, you may however get lucky with CE6.2 and find some pointers that you can technically freeze.
If your unsure about what are pointers, then I suggest a good read about Assembly and what pointers are.
Don't forget there was 3 different 1.0.0.4 trainers, so try each one.
