Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Message Board  

So, I've spent the last 24 hours tweeking the game files and have managed to remove recoil and increase accuracy on all weapons (except shotguns. If you would like to use this tweek for yourself then just send me a contact request on Skype (Phlippit1)or drop me a PM on the site with your email and I will send the file to you. you will also need to follow the following instructions to get it to work :-

Go to the game install folder (.../steam/steamapps/common/resident evil operation raccoon city) and find the files named "csv_fe.ssg" "csv_game.ssg" and "csv_pre.ssg" back up these files somewhere on your system and remove them from the folder. take the file "weapons.csv" (thats the one you need from me) and place it in the folder .../steam/steamapps/common/resident evil operation raccoon city/common remember to back up the original incase you want to go back to normal.

UPDATE;;;; Now unlocks all DLC weapons, also a second file that makes headshots one hit kill on spec ops and zombies, hunters/lickers take 3 or 4 headshots (still better than before).

Holy cow what can i say! he gave me the files not only for the no recoil and better AIM, works so well! but also!

He has managed to unlock the DLC WEAPONS which are aint even out yet for the PC, yet it implemented also in the game but just hidden away untill now!

really nicely done along with the headshots which make it more realistic!

I got a headache.....

I have a little problem. Once I have removed the three files my editing takes effect in the game but nothing is saved, there is just the option to join a new game with an empty character.Did you put your edited files online?

BUT......so far, the recoil is the only GOOD thing about the game....lol
