Battlefield 3 Message Board  

Not sure if it's me doing something wrong, but the trainer just won't activate. I run that game, open the trainer, alt+tab back to the game and press F1 at the main menu, and nothing. I tried not running anti-virus software, I tried moving the trainer to the game directory, and still nothing. I bought the game through Origin, an I'm using windows 7 64-bit with the latest trainer available. Any help?

EDIT: also, the trainer says "Game Not Found" when I try to activate it.

something is blocking the trainer from attaching to the game. most likely AV, firewall or other security software. some of these cannot simply be disabled and must be uninstalled entirely.

Unfortunately, This is the only game trainers won't work on. Trainers from CH for RAGE, Borderlands, and Skyrim work fine.

We use different security templates all time so never assume that any trainer will work like any other.

Get the trainer running first then the game.
I then figured out that the trainer works by alt-tabbing back to desktop from the games main menu.
Now press F1 and it will say 'Trainer activated'. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and nothing special was done bar what I've mentioned here.
