DONT DO IT, haha, i had a king with the lustful trait had 2 mistresses with lustful trait, went thru 3 wifes with lustful trait (gained a lot of land by offing them haha), had 10 sons, made all of them dukes, long story short, 15 years later i only had 1 maimed son, you know why ? ITS BECAUSE THEY ALL KILLED EACHOTHER, REALLY PARADOX ? REALLY.
They need to patch that at some point.

Check what your succession laws are. I recommend Gavelkind that way it makes all your vassals and family happy, as the titles are equally distributed.
If you have elective, there's a chance that holdings won't go to your dynasty members, and if you have it set to senority, all your other children will be ****ed and will revolt.

I do have gavelkind, thats not the point though, the point is that if u make ur sons more than barons, they will immediately start killing eachother for their titles and so on, and i think its stupid to have the sons of the most powerful man on earth be simple barons.

Yea, never give those ungrateful buggers anything. Always tell them "They're not ready" do not tell them you thought they'd want a church life.
Also, if a son is a problem, theres always the knife.
