Tropico 4: Modern Times Message Board  

I have the 1.5.341.18436 steam version (with modern times) but it crashes with the 1.5.341.18436 trainer.

Same with me, it either does not recognize the money or it crashes. Usually I don't have any problems with the trainers. First time. Oh well! Game is still fun and CH is awesome.

I have a way of avoiding the high priced buildings while using the trainer:

1. You can only use F1 once you are in the, not at any of the menus.
2. Wait for the first pop-up giving you an objective appears. Don't click OK, just press the button for the cash, then click on OK.

This way you will get the cash injection for your economy without the inflationary effect on your buildings

Hi all,

Just a request for a trainer update when possible; the latest Pirate DLC and Update (Released 23rd/10/12) breaks the trainer.

It will say "Trainer Activated" but pressing num1 will no longer add money

The trainer is active? It looks so... but does it work with the last steam version? Because last active trainer I used (Fallout 3 new vegas) was useless... It works, but after one mission the game crashes and the notepad doesn't say anything about this issue.

For me, it didn't make the 'activated' sound but it did work. I had to hit the numpad 1 a couple of times but you'll see it change to all 9s in the money total on the bottom left. Hope this helps. :-)

I have the same problem. since i added pirates heaven DLC the trainer doesnt work. you hear the trainer activates sound when u press f1, but when ingame and pressing 1, nothing happens. for me pressing 1 many times result in game crash.

The trainer no longer works after the most recent update.
