Just to let all know. Many are getting an error when trying to install. Here is the fix:
Go here: en.thewitcher.com/ee_manual/
D/L parts 1 and 2 (just a bit over 512MB total)
Run the Install from your D/L folder.
All will work perfectly!
I keep getting an error code when I try to install the EE patch. It says cookedPCpack0.dzip. It says the file is corrupted. I am buying the EE from GameStop tomorrow as well. I may just uninstall the one I have now and install the new one tomorrow. I tried the thing you said but it said I needed pack3.bin or whatever.

Try D/L all parts again from the page I linked. Yes, that sucks (as it's 10GB+) - but it seems there were some corrupt files in the pre-load.
Still. There aren't many developers that provide this much value for their titles. I'm willing to forgive many issues when a developer goes this much out of their way to make me feel I've gotten my monies worth by providing so much additional content and support for free!
This is how a game developer should be. Such developers motivate people into actually buying their games rather than downloading them illegally.
Since I received a free upgrade, I was happy enough to have bought the Enhanced Edition of the first Witcher which is on sale on their site (I actually own a Retail US version of that game, which doesn't have all the goodies and is censored).
So a big thumbs up to CD Projekt! May companies like EA, UbiSoft learn from this as investing millions into copy protection is going to do nothing but just motivate people into piracy.
True, but I feel very, very sorry for people with below-average download speed.
First, you need to download 10gb, then an additional 400mb to replace the broken parts as described on the witcher site (and on the first page of this topic, kudos+!)
It took me about 1 hour, but someone is a country far, far away... 😵
Also, a fresh install would mean that you have to download all the patches again, so it would come close, if not over, 20gb. EGADS!
