Regarding the Trainer 1.1.5427.4 (DVD RETAIL), Massive War Assets (War Readiness),....
After scanning through the other threads I could not find anyone else who posted about having this issue:
Download Trainer--> Extract to Desktop--> Open trainer .exe--> Open ME3.exe--> navigate to "Main Menu"--> press F1--> 3 Second Pause--> Game Freezes and I receive a Windows generic "This application is not responding" error for ME3 which forces me to close the application.
I have checked and verified that the Version of Mass Effect 3 which I am running is in fact 1.1.5427.4. I have no doubt that I downloaded the correct version of the trainer (not the origin version, the DVD version) to compliment the version of the game that I have.
I have the Collectors Edition of the game which was purchased from Gamestop and installed via DVD's. I am running Origin in online mode, and I did not put the Trainer .exe in the program folder... and I am not sure if any of these have a negative effect on the Trainer itself.
I obviously have no idea what I'm doing wrong even after some rudimentary troubleshooting, and have not yet been able to find a successful resolution already posted on the forums (even though I have found many people posting that they are having the same problem, no one says that any of the recommended solutions worked for them). So if I could get some assistance in the matter, I would appreciate it.
