Ok get ****ed of for not been able to change class/gender on NG+?

I succeeded by doing this.

1- download gibbed for ME3, I used (all-r46_b59.zip)
(it is just a editor, no virus ou piracy, dont worry)

svn.gib.me/builds/masseffect3/

2- start a new game + and save as soon as you can (running after the reaper invasion)

3- alt+tab/exit , open gibbed, OPEN/(choose the save game you just made)

4- seek SQUAD / PLAYER / CLASSNAME

5- it will looks like "SFXGame.SFXPawn_PlayerAdept", change Adept for Soldier or whatever class you like (remember the capital letter ex: A for Adept, S for Soldier)

ok class changed...

gender...

6- seek SQUAD / PLAYER / IsFemale

7- Change to True or False (F or M)

8- Save (new save for safety) load the save you just edited..

ok... it is done

remember...

1- don't know how to change face after change gender.. for me it became Bald and ugly so use:

- seek SQUAD / PLAYER / Appearance / Has Morph Head

change to false.. and it will be the standard shepard appearance

2- worked for me, but I dont know the long term stability of the game/history since shepard may romance with a female only character on ME2 and than change over by ME3... and other unforeseen errors.

3- I believe it can work on any save game

4- remember to use the reseted character points...

PS:
sorry about xbox or ps3.. works only for PC (I think)

My save is ME1 --> ME2 --> ME3 --> ME3+ so if I encounter any error I tell.

Ow.. and change the name/class on the save game folder or it will show as the old save mane/class

ex: from this Nynph_12_Adept_140312_20da5f5 to this John_12_Soldier_140312_20da5f5

- the change name is also on gibbed just look for name... =]

Gibbed does it again. I've been using his tools since Kotor 1. Nice to see he's working on ME3 aswell.

It still says the original class in load game.

Have you try the second part?

Yes, think it's something else.

Anyhow, after playing a bit it fixed itself, guess some auto-saves and chapter saves got updated and it started to show up with the new class.

I still don't know why the change class/gender in NG+ should not be allowed by the game
