Just so you know I asked, no plans for a Shepard rescue or a "Romance DLC"... Aria is a possible, but by this time Cerberus is gone, unless she attacks before the final attack.

i knew not to get my hopes up with a Shepherd Rescue/Romance DLC but u r a bearer of bad news DABs

in any case...i personally welcome any DLC they release. an alternate ending would be nice.

I get the feeling any DLC released will be pre-endgame, so Cerberus will still be around no matter what.

But to be honest... just asking doesn't really mean much. They're not going to confirm something until they make an official announcement, not even to their own people since they know anyone they tell will pass the information along, like you have.

    So there's still hope.

@Serv: Sorry buddy, but MP packs are inevitable. Just one more step to the CoDisation of Mass Effect.

yea...i'm no fan of MP either. i completely dislike MMO-ing every game that becomes popular. don't they get it...maybe a game's popular purely due to its SP experience and its fan's won't take kindly to it.

Oh, one thing I should have mentioned about Javik (was that this topic? Jeez, my memory is completely FUBARed) is that I've changed my mind on whether it's worth it or not. I do think it's worth it based purely on some of the quips he comes out with.

"...They used to eat flies." (on Salarians)

"The beacon seems to think you're prothean Shepard, it must be the cipher you got on Ferros years ago."
"Or it could be the Prothean standing next to him."

Maybe I'm just easily amused, but hey, it makes life far more interesting.

Also, I took him to Thessia (great tip from Lizml86), and that, plus the sequence after the mission with Liara was great. Had I not had the DLC and knew about that, I'd have felt like I missed out.

However, I still think people who're saying that not having him cuts a huge chunk out of the Universe and that he should have been an essential part of the game are being silly and overreacting.

I've also been looking around the Interwebs, and it's strange people are complaining about the accent. If he had an American accent no one would have given it a second thought. Ah well.

I kinda hope there'll be another character DLC. Zaeed was a little on the lame side, but he was Day Onee, but I really enjoyed Kasumi, both as a character and her mission. ME3 has great potential for new characters.

Sheesh, I do tend to ramble on don't I? I'll call it quits now.

    Oh, almost forgot...

@dssas: it's nothing against the gameplay or how well it's implemented, it's just personal preference. I've never liked MP for some reason I've never been able to explain, and I doubt I ever will.

LOL, yeah I like some of the lines they use. Liara's "father" has a nice one after Shepard makes a comment about in human society two women parents would both be called mother. She comes back with a typically crude comment

The one with Javik and flies was the funniest so far to me. "the lizards evolved?" Then Liara says they are actually amphibian and crosses her arms with a smug look and Javik looks at her straight in the face all serious, "they used to eat flies" and Liara can only walk away

I can't understand why people are complaining over his accent. People complain about such minor issues.

EA is the anti-Midas touch company. Everything they touch turns to garbage.

There's more too. At the start of the game, all I was thinking was "Wow, he's a douchebag". But as the game expands, and you talk to him to get all of his "actual" conversations, you learn why he acts like a complete douchebag, and that he's not actually all that bad.

Imagine being the sole survivor of the human race. That's gotta be one hell of a case of survivors guilt. I think that'd make most people insulting and hard.
