Yes its not just 1 person that is saying the same thing, its about 86% of the 11,000 that voted think the same.
Its pointless debate who thinks like who, threads like these are for people who DO have the same opinion.
But a post like this is pretty much saying the exact same thing, because we don't love the ending as much as you did we should shut up about it.
Each to their own, and don't dog people who disagree with you, in the end it was only a game, and life goes on. Maybe not for Shepard though..lol

You mean... 86% of the 11,000 people who voted, out of the 3.5 million people who have bought the game? Sure.
I'm not dogging on people who are complaining, I'm sticking up for the people who get bashed for not agreeing with you. Not you personally, obviously, but your shared opinion.
I haven't said shut up to anyone, so take that elsewhere. I'm saying stop acting like everyone should agree with you.
I'm done with these threads.

I don't really see what all the fuss is about. So what that you get presented with three options, the entire game has been leading to it. Just as in real life it doesn't matter what you chose 20 years ago, here you are and you're stuck with choosing A or B anyway.
People judge the entire series based on a selection at the end. Sacrifice yourself, sacrifice all or sacrifice the people you got to know and love. Not an easy choice. So what did people expect? Galaxy goes back to all loving peace, Shepard and Tali (or whoeever you CHOSE) goes into the sunset, have three kids and live happily ever after. Bleh, THAT would have sucked since it would had been so expected and so lame. The sugar coated ending for all the weak minds out there that can't handle a critical decision. You saved the princess, the both of you live happily ever after, the kingdom is in peace and no one has to bother with anything anymore. Game over.
But no, you get to choose from really hard decisions. Decisions that you may or may not be part of in the future, but decisions that will form the entire galaxy.
Seriously, I don't judge this game badly even if it had a bad ending (I have not even finished it yet but I had to read it and see what the fuss is about), I played the game for the JOURNEY. To explore all those worlds, to be able to forge alliances, relationships. The good and the bad. The story. The experience to walk around on the Citadel would be enough for me to fork out the big bucks for this game. So what if the game ends badly, it will end either way. But the best part is that during the game you get to choose, you get to create an unique identity for your character. Are you an arrogant prick, or a nice guy? Do you try to seduce all your crew or are you professional to the core? Duty first!
This is what I got the games for. The story, the journey, the experience of being just one man, able to change the universe - willing or not.
This is the worst thing about hype, people expect some king of multi-orgasmic head-exploding ending people will write operas about. And when you don't get it you bash the game and say it sucks because you played through three of them and didn't get the ending you expected. I would say you missed the whole point of why you got the game in the first place. If you want cherry top endings where the shy ugly guy gets to bone the prom queen then go watch some crap movie. There are plenty of them there.
Just play the game. Enjoy the environments, immerse yourself in the story. Just enjoy the journey, because the memories of the journey is what you'll have when the ending comes. And try to avoid all the hype and don't get your expectations fly through the roof. You will ALWAYS be disappointed and then you'll miss what's best with a game.
The journey.
I agree. Here we have the Reapers who have been destroying advanced civilizations for millions of years and we expect everything to end with everyone surviving and living happily ever after
I have no problem with Shepard dying and I even expected it. Even though there is one ending that shows his chest inhaling. The relays had to be destroyed along with reaper tech so civilizations could finally advance on their own without the help of reaper technology. Civilizations are now on their own to decide their fate instead of the reapers pushing and pointing them in certain directions.
This is the end of the Shepard story, not the ME story. I just can't get over the vitriol and hate people have over this game, oh my our first world problems are such a problem

I feel like saying get over it now. Nothing can be done now. Still a dam good game tho!
Ok ... i can understand choices You need to make at the end. And even with Shepard death and all other things.
But they don't even bother to tell what happens after "big bang" ... what happend to the Turians, Krogans, Geth, Asari and all other fleets stuck in the SOL.
And not only in the SOL. As we know, main fleets came to Earth, but there was a lot of smaller who fight for other planets.
Like Krogans and Turians fighting for Palaven. What with them ??
That smells me like another war for sure ...
And You get only some crappy grandpa telling his grandchild some crappy story abut someone called Shepard .. WTF ??
* sorry for my english, if You can't understand something .. well .. it's Yours problem ..
I guess imagination is hard... would be a pretty lame game if EVERYTHING had to be explained in the end. But I can tell you what happens with all the races...
They all die.
Eventually.
Or they get absorbed into some other culture.
Either way, I don't want a game to explain everything for me. This is a story about SHEPARD, not the Mass Effect universe. Perhaps there will be other Mass Effect games in the future that will give a more in depth view into the various races. Or some novels. It's just like with Star Trek, they have been at it for over 50 years and they still have not explained what happens to all the races. With Mass Effect you could do the next 2000 games and still still leave a lot unexplained. You can't really trouble the game makers with explaining what happens to the freaking UNIVERSE? There has to be some left for the imagination (and possible future games, perhaps a movie? TV-series?).
Use your imagination .
Mass Effect is a great game series and they got the ball rolling on something that could be potentially huge.
