Does anybody know if there will be a release with an actual disk and not a download in the states???

Last time I read, there wasn't going to be a retail release in the US and other parts of the world. However, you can import it from anywhere which does sell the retail version, such as Germany, and you'll be able to install and run it fine (and yes, in English regardless of where you buy it from).

According to Amazon the Risen 2: Special Edition will be released on July 31, 2012 (sooner I hope). I don't know about the regular edition but probebly much sooner than that.

So, I guess I have to be a little patient?? Like a hellhound, I am!! Thanks for the info.!!

Here I was, thinking Americans get everything before we do.

Really? Hmm... I thought they only had restrictions on hardware.

You could try to find a specialist import site. I know they exist from people talking about them, but I don't have any to share.

Try german sites and use Google Translate to find your way around.
