When the CE was announced and available for pre-ordered, this was listed so everyone knew there was going to be a prothean squadmate. It sucks that bioware decided to make this dlc though. For ME2, dlc squadmates Zaed and Kasumi weren't really integral to the story as a whole. They were extras, good to have but not miss. However, a prothean squadmate, in my opion, is too important to the storyline to be dlc. That being said, I already have the CE pre-ordered so no loss for me.

I looked at the ME 3 Wikia the other day and it only showed six squad members. Now it shows seven and this.

Now I did not remember seeing this DLC on the CE stuff list from Game even tho it says it on the Wikia. But this makes me a little more happy now, But in a way am kinda meh about having another character. Altso I did not Spend as much as 240. I only paid £60 for mine.

The Wiki should techically say Kaiden OR Ashley. I think you got more squad members in 2 and in 1, but that makes sense because of the mission, so you'll not necessarily get as many squad members in 3.

Though I do know one more not listed there...
