Civilization 4: Colonization Message Board  

The game freezes on the loading screen when trainer is activated, when i turn it off the game loads right up. Any possible fixes?

Try clearing out all the files in your 'Temp' & 'Temporary Internet Files', I will assume you are using Win 7 so they are here:

Temp: "\AppData\Local\Temp"
TIF: "\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files"

I am running the Steam version of the game on Win 7 64 and it works fine with the trainer provided, it will however not work if you have activated a mod from within the game menu.
