I am currently in a bad way with duplicated Antelope Heads (bugged quest item) in my inventory. Due to use of the +10 item setting in trainer I was duplicating several hundreds of these everytime I salvaged and sold items without every being made aware of it since quest items only visible directly in items window.
From what I gather there is no practical way of deleting these and since I no longer have the save game file predating my 1st collection of these all my save games are no bugged with too many antelope heads.I managed to go back to an early enough of a save file that my game is stable and functional (non crashing) but it still has 700+ antelope heads in the inventory.
I was curious if anyone has figured out a way to delete all antelope heads (or other items) from their inventory via the hex editor and would be kind enough to walk me through how I could do that.
Thanks in advance.

Using the hex editor I am able to search and find a text string related to "antelope" in my save file. However, it does not mention Antelope Head.
I assume I can tweak this offsets in a certain way to nullify my antelope head value to zero? or remove it completely from inventory?

i have the same problem. but i think it is trainer fault, not "the heads" if you check your inventory. there are other things under anthlop head. i think inventry can except limited item.

why is nobody solve this problem. "antelope head" count will be 0 or 4(if you didn't finish the mission),then problem solved.

The only items that appear with their name in the save are items that you have created. Even randomly generated items (greens and blues with different stats) have a hex code associated with them.
If you screwed up and multiplied all items in a bag (instead of sending only those items you want to the junk and multiplying only those) you're stuck with those items until a save editor comes along, or you manage to figure out the offsets for each item.

yeah I'm hoping someone can shed some more light on this topic I have 2 different characters who have amassed a substantial amount of red crystals and tattered documents. I feel like moving forward in the game would not be prudent under the circumstances of picking up "items" that will eventually crash my game.
This is important information if anyone can share something more regarding hexediting a specific place, (i'm a newbie at hexediting) I'd love to hear it!

hi, if you can find the item ID with CE by it's quantity, simply change byte C4 to 04. then the item can be sent to junk
