    You can't .. you can only start a war if you got some sort of a claim on a title.

    War's in CK2 isn't war between nations but more between characters. Where you fight for the right to hold a title over something.

    I actually found out that using this thing below increases demesne, i used it so many times that my demesne is 700 and i rule every church castle and city personally, i arrested everybody and stripped them off their titles and usurped it all, haha.

    -How to increase critical character traits like 'martial, learning, stewardship, learning' etc.-
    1-Go to religious_events.txt
    2-Press ctrl+f and search: name = "EVTOPTA39303"
    3-Add the following lines under option = {
    name = "EVTOPTA39303" #Yes Please':
    change_learning = 100
    change_martial = 100
    change_diplomacy = 100
    change_stewardship = 100
    change_intrigue = 100
    4-Save and enter the game
    5-Open console and type event 39303. Your character will get 100 points for each of this traits.

    If you are of the same religion as the guy you want to attack send your steward to his province to fabricate a claim and when he is finished(takes a random amount of time) you will be able to declare war on the guy holding the province.

    If you start editing stuff why don't you just change those for your character in the save file? It takes only one step.

    Also ruling everything is micromanagement hell. If you left click on a castle, town or monastery you will get a panel with all the things you can build, probably about 60 in total since I think there are 4 or 5 levels for each one.

    If you edit your save game, you only chance 1 character.
    When you chance character you have to go to the save file and edit it again.

    If you make an event(or chance one), you have to fire it every time you chance char.
    But if you get tired of it, you can choose to not fire the event. And just play "normal".

    And if you edit the static_modifiers.txt file in the /Common/ folder you just have to make 1 chance and it will count for all your chars.
    But you can't choose not to play with the benefits. It will be on all the time for the char you play.

    So, there will be good and bad things with every form of "cheating", it all a matter of how you do the things, how often and what game mechanism you are using.
