I find keyboard and mouse to be a little.. sloppy with this game. Plus i hate not being able to walk lol.

Is there anyway to increase the amount of skill slots available to us when using the controller?

No, you are limited by the amount of buttons on the controller and I assume that 38 studios didn't want to force people to have to memorized a bunch of button combos to use an item/skill, so they made it only have 4 skills hot keyed on a controller.

Press LB. Another menu will open.
Tons of spaces.

The LB radial menu only allows you to map consumable items to it.

@kapxis - You might try something like xpadder to setup button combinations for the number keys. No Idea if it will work though.
