doesn't require any past save, all you have to do, is lower your level with the - option and then level up normally.

Ex. if you used + to get to 10 and hit Num 6 to get the xp that is required to become positive again. Then simply lower your level to 1 again with the - option and then kill some enemies.

You'll level up quickly the right way with the xp and you'll be able to use weapons again.


It does this because the game hasn't registered that you've leveled up, as all the trainer does is change the value..

stupid game, i done everyting, and still cant change the spells....

I have the same problem with the spells but i have found a way to circumvent it, if you go to a fateweaver you can reset your abilities and then you can choose which ones you get in the quickbar by the order you unlock them.

As it so happens, I have also had the ability bug, couldn't re-arrange or equip them because I couldn't drag them, nor the items for that matter (in case you're wondering, you can drag items from the inventory to the little trash bin at the feet of the character to delete them).

Reason (as far as I could make out) was the presence of the trainer at the start of the game, as well as my lack of patience and using abilities before the tutorial messages appeared, basically screwing up the scripted events a bit.

You will NOT be able to fix it no matter what you do.
Stop your current game in progress, start anew with no trainer present, get through the tutorial (including the last part with choosing the cards) slowly, this is to avoid messing up the scripted events (just wait for the prompts that tell you PRESS X TO DO STUFF), make a hard save, exit, and now you can use the trainer and all game functions normally, with the added advantage that you also have a hard save in case you mess up again.

Number one rule whenever you play and RPG or use a trainer: Save early, save often.

I had this same bug but I fixed it easily. All i did was add the xp to the next level then killed some enemies leveled up and then I could equip my other weapons again.

true words.. and more then save early and save often, i would like to add, save in more then one spot now and then to have multiple possible reload locations to choose from, as you never know what or when something may have gone haywire

all games should have the old loading messages from the ancient rpg's.. " Remember to save"

For me it works if i press both mouse buttons when dragging the spells, only left or right doesn't work for some reason.
