I managed to alter the number of units beeing able to recruit in beastlairs and thought i share it with my fellow community members. afterall why only have 1 or two of each.
go in my case to: program files\steam\steamapps\common\kingarthur2 So where ever you installed the game. There you will see a folder called CFG, then go to the folder Locations.
In the Locations folder you can find all the building types. Just open these with Notepad.
For instance i openend TyrantChristian.cfg; here you can see the cost, building time, faith req, etc. Also the name of the unit (example: Building[0].Type=Lionhearts). there is also a row in the column called; Building[0].Effect[0].value=1 (or whatever number is there) change the 1 to a different number (example=6) and you would be able to recruit 6 units instead of 1 (This is for 1 building, if you have two buildings of the same type the number doubles ingame).
The first 3 or 4 columns is for the units, the rest is for building moddifiers and the unit skills.
The Cfg files with units in them are: DragonLair.cfg, BeastLair.cfg, BlackToothBeastLair.cfg, GiantLair.cfg, GolemLair.cfg, RightfulChristian.cfg, RightfulOldFaith.cfg, TyrantChristian.cfg, TyrantOldFaith.cfg.
And the rest is up to you's...

So, im tying to get more dragons. The files containing the lair units is kinda different from the others, but I just need to identify the desierd building and then add the wantet number behind "value", right? 🤔

yeah that's right. I said they where different because some will be neatly lined beneath each other and others could be one line behind the other, so you would have to look for it.
just open dragonlair.cfg with notepad. then you will see that the first collum is for the red dragon, second white and third black, the rest of the collums/sections is not important. so locate the line Building[1].Effect[0].value=1 and change this to whatever you want.
Now when ingame i noticed that when i first got a lair nothing was changed, but as soon as i upgraded it, it did change. also you'll proberly have to repeat everything, each time they update the game.

While we're talking about editing, anyone know if there's a way to hack the amount of gold in my savegame, either with a text or hex editor?
The trainer isn't working (YES I used it with the x86 versions of the game), and all I really want to do is get a ton of cash. Thoughts?
In humanity's defense, we have been left unsupervised.
