I appear to have the same problem as this fellow: www.cheathappens.com/show_board2.asp?headID=96968&titleID=12377 (who appears to have also been talking about the in-built cheats, and not the trainer).

The steps to enable them appear to work to a degree - ie: the console is now enabled, and the keyboard cheat shortcuts work. However, when any cheat is entered, the game simply states "[Player] is trying to cheat!". This is indeed on a fresh profile. Anyone have any ideas?
