Maybe, but you don't need 100% readiness to successfully complete the game.

Of course, everything in this thread is basically speculation.

You can reach the highest levels of success in the single player experience alone, but Galaxy at War gives you alternative ways to get there.

Yup, taken from BW themselves, I could never speak in such an illusive manner.

I stand corrected, and very happily do so.

"Remember the good old days when you could just slap Omni-Gel on everything?" - Shepard, ME2

"Not right now. Trying to determine how Scale Itch got aboard. Sexually transmitted disease carried only by Varren..... Implications unpleasant." - Mordin, ME2

You could have had most of your team die in ME2 and still complete the game, not exactly a good thing to know you can complete something, without giving it your best shot.

An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest.
I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

You will still have to work hard if you lost main characters in your playthroughs of ME1 and 2.

Just because you lost people due to a few decisions doesn't mean you should encounter harder gameplay, just only the story changes.
Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA

I just realized that becouse the readiness is shared across the different characters, it should be possible to rise the readiness by replaying the game and ng+.
