I know that we still have some months to release, but as the demo should show up soon, I thought I should ask.
Do you suppose that the Galactic Readiness rating will be cheatable or even a option in the trainer?

Yes that sounds like it would be a good option to have in a trainer for the game.

Galactic readiness is affected by the Co-op missions, so it'd be a good option for those of us who probably won't do them.

BioWare have said that the multiplayer portion(s) have been designed in a way that they won't affect (negatively) the single player aspects, so I think that while you have to complete co-op missions to get 100% readiness (if it's possible), or that's the impression I've gotten at least, you don't actually have to get 100% readiness to complete the game successfully (good/best ending).

I for one really hope that you can achieve 100% readiness without the co-op missions... I hate the thought of having to rely on others to achieve my goals in this game. That means I would have to take on the extra effort of finding people to play those missions... plus I would have to play without the trainer options as those would most certainly get you banned from playing in the multi-player scenarios at a bare minimum. I love my trainers!

That is the smartest thing I have ever heard anyone say about anything.

It seems that "extra" Readiness is optional and only helps. But, it sounds like the in-game decisions will have more impact on the endgame.
In ME2 there were only 3 such decisions: gain/loose Zaeed's loyality, release Grunt and activate Legion. All others, with the exception of the various Normandy upgrades and who to use in the end, if you did them, realy did not have any impact on the ME2 endgame.

I suspect that ME3 will be somewhat different in this. You do a mission and can gain a "war asset", but if you alianate the faction, you will loose the "war asset" or perhaps make a compromise and gain 2 "war assets" but at 50% efficiency. In the final assault/galactic war you have to use the "war assets", but there will probably some Rock-paper-scissors calculation.

So the best ending is possible, but only with the correct decisions...

Now, I have no problem if that would just generate more enemies for me or that I would need a greate persuation. But, if it just generates a "cinematic fail" and I get a good rather then best ending than I could be disapointed.

There's no way they'd require you to complete the co-op portion in order to get the good or best ending. Maybe getting galactic readiness will just make the final portions a little easier, or maybe it'll act like side quests - a fun little optional portion, but has no real impact on the main game?

Either way, I'm sure it'll be possible to get all endings through simple player only.

    I hope.

    Maybe.
