I unfortunately have to say i'm one of those in bad luck either now. Origin retail version and no more luck. Not that i'm actually planning on cheating much on the current char. but i was planning on a fast run through in other build soon just before i start ME3...why else did i pre-order it for .

But seems i've to skip that now... Tried most of the above things but no luck... aah well game is beautiful as it is.. just will stick to a one-timer for now then.

TRAINER SUDDENLY STOPPED WORKING.......HELP PLEASE!
My trainer has been working perfectly for weeks,then today Origin insisted on having an update, and now the trainer won't come on at all, is this a co incidence or has anyone else found this too?
I uninstalled Origin and installed again, but same thing happened, is there any way out of this???

disable/uninstall all AV, firewall and other security software. right click run as admin on trainer.

Goodmorning PWizard, firstly, thank-you for all your effort and time to dev 3 versions of the KoA trainer and for your patience in dealing with the problems some of us are having with the Retail/Origin version of the trainer.

I tried your above suggestion and, yet again, unfortunately it did not work. KoA starts to load, but when it gets to the "Press any key" window, my machines locks up. I have to exit to Task Manager in order to "restsrt" system. If I don't "run as Admin", KoA loads but nothing happens when I press F1.

Just to make sure something wasn't going on with my machine or Win 7 (64b), I loaded up the DA II trainer and started an old save and everything worked fine. If I don't load trainer and just start KoA everything also works.

I'm at a lost and very frustrated. Don't misunderstand me, I don't blame you. Your work is above reproach and very much appreciated. I guess I'll just revert to Hex editing.

Sounds like AV, firewall or other third party software interfering with the trainer. No other complaints from the tens of thousands of users using the same trainer, so we can only assume that the problem is isolated to your environment. Also, never assume that any one trainer will behave like any other as we use different security templates all the time.

was there a ninja update or something? stupid Origin doesn't have a recent updates feature like Steam. been using the trainer no problem for the past week, then today all of the sudden the game starts freezing again out of the blue, especially when I'm approached by a NPC and the game attempts to go to the dialogue cutscene.

boom just freezes and I can't move the player, or use spells and ESC doesn't work either. gotta skip to desktop manually n shut it down with Task Manager. I resolved that same issue the week before by running the trainer as admin, but now what the fluck? I always play with my AV's disabled.

I am at the Pride before the fall quest and Dren has disappeared.I can only guess that it's the trainer.I have 46 hours on the Steam version and started using the trainer at about 42 hours.Also,started a new character just to see what's up and with the trainer active it randomly disables the fire mouse button 1 in game.I am not complaining as much as just a heads up.I completely love the trainers most of the time.This just isn't one of them.I will have to start a new characterand play through the game cheat freeto see the ending I guess.Thx,Mike
