Regarding the Trainer (PATCH 07.09.2011), Unlimited Life, Mana, Power Orb, Ea....
I apologize if this question has been posted already.
How do I find the version of my DS3?
I just bought the retail copy from J&R and installed it. When I run the latest trainer and click Continue in the game menu, the game crashes. Now, my DVD-ROM disc did install a Steam shell that I launch DS3 from, but I've tried using the trainer both ways.
I put copies of the trainer in both the Steam folder and the DungonSiegeIII folder. When I run the trainer shortcut for the one in the Steam folder, I launch the game from Steam and it crashes. When I use the shortcut for trainer in the DungeonSiegeIII folder and run my shortcut for DungeonSiegeIII.exe, it still crashes.
When I check the Properties of DungeonSiegeIII.exe, it shows the version of that file as 1.0.0.0.
The one thing I will try until somebody offers suggestions is setting Steam, DungeionSiegeIII.exe and both copies of the trainer exe to Run As Administrator (I'm in Windows 7) and hope that resolves the issue.
OOPS! Nevermind! I downloaded the wrong trainer version. Now it's working!
