I am using the newest trainer and everything for the most part works fine, however, when I clicked on Ontarom or walked through the docking bay of Noveria the game freezes and multiple coloured lines appear onscreen and I can only turn my PC off to get out of the game. When I clicked on Ontarom I only had pressed F1 at the main menu and nothing else. When I was on Noveria, I had pressed F1 and num 1 to 5 whilst on the dock. I really don't know what to do about it now.

I've had the weird freezing, however, its happened in different places, more noticeably, in the Galaxy map (Normandy, not the actual planet selector.) and in Noveria. Apart from using the console to save and load, I've found no fix.
An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest. I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

I don't know what the exact fix might be but it sounds like a graphics card issue. Have you either tried rolling back your drivers or installing the latest ones.
Depending on what is causing the graphics problem either one of those might fix it.

Re-installing update 1.02 fixed it for me.
