I like this game a lot. Moreso than Skyrim right now honestly. And one of the biggest features of this game that i absolutely adore is the Bomb Crafting system.
Now, I've tried a few different bomb combinations, with some success, but not all of them work as I would like. Some inevitably include innocent civilians, some don't have enough lethal potential, etc.
So I'm wondering if you guys have found any decent bomb combos, or if there are certain combos that work with other devices Ezio has such as the Poison Darts, thrown money, etc.
See no evil, do no good.

I find the most important strategy in using bombs is timing. If you're going to use a lethal bomb then you have to stay out of sight and wait until the guards/your target isn't in range of civilians. I also find that using the medium gunpowder limits the casualties to your intended target(s) as long as, like I just mentioned, you get the timing right.
I'm not a big fan of using bombs personally. I've found I've only used the sticky shrapnel bomb (I forget the technical name), the cherry bomb, and the smoke bomb , and even those only on a few occasions.

i have 2/3 combos i like
1st is for clearing dens ONLY!!! sticky pouch + british GP + shrapnel = biggest bomb on a nice attachable pouch to suprise a group. very good but high civillian risk
2nd is a tripwire bomb with the poison powder BUT before i set it i find a group of gaurds and toss a clay case(forget name) of brithish gp and thick smoke to distract long enough to set poison tripwire. this gets 2 challenges kill while under a distraction and tripwire kill.
3rd and most usefull is sticky + arabian gp (weakest) + poison. essentially its a poison dart bomb but with bomb craft expertise and my animus dlc i get 5 of them to add to my normal poison darts. VERY FUN and i still maintain full stealth bonus
