The devs finally confessed that there is a problem with the game and DX11. Start the game with 'launcher' and change the settings to not allow DX11 graphics or tessellation. This will start the game in DX9 but the game will perform better and the crashes should end.
The devs also said they were working on a patch for the DX11 problem.
A DX11 problem? its surely showed that they have failed to apply the right SOP for their QA that make this happened
They should bother to minimize this kind of pathetic bugs glitches etc instead to bother too much with whether they need to create 10 DLC or 11 DLC for the games then

I've been playing the game only in DX 9 and I staill have had crashes. I've been running the game in DX 9 for the sake of getting better FPS.

Same here. Running game in DX9 and still getting crashes. I am wondering if the trainer triggered copy protection with the game which may cause the game crashes.
I had a similar problem with Arkham Asylum where the trainer triggered copy protection and I was unable to enter the the final battle with Poison Ivy, I had to restart the game and play through without a trainer in order for it to allow me to finish the game.
I wonder if this is the case with this one too.
