It's really a steam game in the end no matter where you buy it, but I got mine from direct2drive and only paid like $45 for it and had started the game right after midnight.

currantly DLing skyrim from steam, i have to wait about an hour, damn i cant wait, and guys/girls, do real life stuff first, girl/boyfriend/wife/husband is more inportant that this game, game can wait, it wont leave you, damn i wish i had a GF, things had beed alot difrent in my life, currantly dont have a life
