before you ask this game does use matchmaking but it supports dedicated for fans of the less laggy alternative. to activate this simpyl go to barracks, options, deciated server and hit yes to both options. know when you go to multiplayer you will have a play option for matchmakign and a server option for dedicated.

as yet no way to permantly make it dedicated or vice versa.

also the dedicated servers while they have the 5 default classes you CAN NOT rank up on them. little sucky i know but meh at least you have all default classes to use

You can have your own customized class in dedicated server match.

go to private match, then go to create a class. and that's it.

everything is unlocked to use in dedicated server match. enjoy!

yeah but as i said NO RANK UP which to some is more important than custom. its a token geature for pc gamers but they could have tried harder in long run to make us happy.
