For some reason radiationpoisoning turns incurable when the trainer has been used... I don't really know what that is all about, but ill effects can't be removed at all, not even when you're down to 0 rads after a doctors visit, and no matter what you'll end up dying.
So, is there any way around that ? I can't figure any ways of removing the effects of radiationpoisoning through the console (though I'm pretty certain I did find a way once), and I don't really enjoy the idea of having to start over again, I've already marked out all the good mapspots for fasttravelling... does anyone know any workarounds ?

Okay this is too bad, I've run NEARLY every health modifying "spell" through now and disabled them, I even added a few immunity spells, and STILL my character just keeps dying what the hell is going on with that ?. There HAS to be some sort of fix or workaround for this

where do you get this so called incurable rad sickness? there are some areas with radiation where your not supposed to go... the rotunda in the memorial (until end game that is) and the vault which main entrance took a direct hit that is close to limelight caverns.
Since there are people who give me crap for my grammar and is to lazy to check my profile I will say it here as well. I am dyslexic so give me a break as I *TRY* to spell correctly.

Had the same problem and restarted from an early savegame. You went somewhere you where not supposed to go, maybe with trainer or godmode. You can still finish the game with godmode constantly enabled though.

Thanks for the replies, but that isn't really the issue no, I've jsut explored the left quarter of the map and part of the bottom area until I decided to head for megaton, I haven't been ANYWHERE near the rotunda in the endgame part (I've just started), haven't made it up to vault 87 yet, and I also haven't been near the rocket in that something square where the statesman is...
The radiationpoisoning just suddenly popped up out of nowhere while I was heading from germantown, rather strange considering that I've already completed the wasteland survival guide-radiation quest without any problems...
But you don't know of any ways to disable the effects of radiationpoisoning and health damage effects ? So far I've disabled EVERY single form of radiationpoisoning through console and tried adding in immunity and max radresistance, still doesn't do anything. Is there any way to reset rads ? As in making the console COMPLETELY reset anything related to rads as you can do with health ?

sounds like you found a "feature" in the game theres no major rad hotspots around germantown police department... really strange.. and rad away dont fix it?
