Receiving "Bloodhound.Sonar.9" detection when attempting to run trainer mentioned in Topic. False Positive?

Yes, false positive. Files are scanned before they upload it. See also this Link.

The virus name can be analyzed as such:
Bloodhound.Sonar: This is the name of Norton's heuristic engine
9: This is the reason why Norton thinks the file is a virus (used by researches by Symantec to create a signature if the file is a virus or to add it to a white list if it's a false positive. Of course this only happens if you chose to send usage stats to Symantec to improve their product).
