Is this game only co-op with other human players online or does it also have a single player campaign that 1 human player controls all in-game heroes??

It has single player. However, you choose only one hero to control. The A.I. is actually pretty bad, and if you play by yourself, it is a one-person show. I love the game though.

AI is not that bad I think. The only minus with their system is managing AI items is not possible. I wish it was.
