Just started playing it about 45 mins ago. If you liked the stronghold 1 or 2 then you will really like stronghold 3. It is a great update to series, and so far is great fun.
I haven't run into any bugs yet, but will post again in 24 hours or so after I played for a few hours.

If you like managing food supplies and building up your armys while defending off attacks on your castle, all the while keeping your villages happy so they work, than go for it, i enjoy the game, tricky to get hang off with the new rules about happyniss, but other than that its fun

It is a sim city style game for castles. If you like building castles, and managing cities, this is a fun game. The interface is much better than Stronghold 1.
If sim management games are not your thing, this probably will not be your thing either.

Not worth $50, but fun in the same way the previous in the series were.
Somewhat buggy, and wolves can climb wooden ladders in towers. :/

well i've seen wolves in real life go over an 8 foot tall fence so climbing up the inside of a siege tower isn't something i would think of impossible for those evil creatures when they get my villagers.
