Hi,

is there a way to lower the position skills to 70 or 75? I dont want to play against this players if I sell them or change my club.

umm was wonderling did your player Ability gone back to normal when u leave them for abit?? coz it happen to me... so can someone tell me if i did somethin wrong... im talking about player ablitty not Position..

the position level deacreases a little bit (97 all positions). The skill level deacreases until 90, but not thus much.

Player stats in FM12 highly depend on how old he is. So, for 11-12 years youth player maximum skill level is about 45, for 17-18 - about 70, for 25 - 80-100, 30 years old player will have max skills of 90. So, after 25, the older the player is, the less is value of his max skills.
In other words, if you cheat max skills of 17 years old player to 99, they would gradually decrease until normal level for his age. And it doesn't matter what you do with this player The only thing that slows down this decrease - to put him on the pitch as often as possible. I have noticed that younger players who are usually in starting eleven lose their skills less quickly than those who do not play that much.
