I use a Logitech Mouse. I've had it for quite awhile so I don't remember the number. It is one of the smaller type that your hand can cover, which is what I like about it. I use a Gigaware keyboard, which the Gigaware mouse never worked with. This is a strange game. The strangest I have ever seen, even the color and size seem to be off. If you don't run it full blast, with the highest settings it is so blurry everything looks like an out of focus lens. My current computer a Hewlett Packard Pavilion, with a dual core Athalon processor, A 4GB DDR3 system memory, ATI HD 3000 graphics card and a 500 gig HD should be able to handle this without a problem. My OS is Windows 7 but don't think that makes a difference, since I had the same problem with my old computer a Dell AT/410. All I can think of is to switch from digital to analouge and if this doesn't work forget it.

The model information is usually on the bottom of the mouse.

Tropico 4 does work with the PC Xbox 360 controller, thus bypassing any mouse issues.. I Love using the PC xbox controller, it makes the menus much easier to navigate.. Save up some money and buy a controller, this game and a few others do Benefit from the pc/360 controller.. This is an addictive game.. I can't stop playing the ONLIVE version, I got that one for .88 cents..

I just want you to know, that what you described about outdated drivers and paying for them, that didn't sound like logitech at all, but one of those "driver" websites where you may find really old files. Stick to logitech.com for your logitech drivers, logitech does not charge for any drivers or anything of the sort.

(yes I know it was an old message).
