Looks like steam had an update today although didn't see any news or message about it yet. But watched steam DL small update.. of course trainer needs update to work.

They released and update and then rolled it back because it broke everyone's game.

yes the game reports 1.2.0 but the 1.1.0 trainer still works with it. that's right.. do not use the 1.2.0 trainer with the 1.2.0 version of the game, use the 1.1.0 trainer.

confused? blame the developers..

Strangely, I have the Steam version 1.2.0 and use it with the 1.2.0 trainer and it works fine for me. Your mileage may vary of course.

It does seem a bit strange though that if I do a clean boot of Windows 7 Home Premium, I use way less than 3 gig of memory, but after playing Dead Island it never goes back to less than 5 1/2 gigs shown on my little memory/cpu meter thingie. Luckily I have 16gig installed so it's not a problem, but I wonder if some of the problems others are having result from them having only 4gig or less of system memory installed.

It would be good to hear from some folks out there who are running this game with some degree of stability just how much memory THEY have on their computers.

Mine is 1.2.1 now and its clash with both 1.20 and 1.1.0 trainers they've update again to 1.2.1 and fix the clash when starting game already i think but i just cant find patch log anyway its 1.2.1 now confirm

The actual trainers dont work =/

Yep game crashes with trainer now. Can activate keys, but they don't work in game. Go to access inventory and then crashes.

I'm sure the Trainer Makers are aware and diligently trying to make the new trainer for the new 1.2.1 version. They don't churn these out a few minutes after update, at least not all the time .
