im thinking of buying the game from steam but im not sure if it will work. anybody know?

Our Assassin´s Creed: Brotherhood Trainer is now available for version 1.03 and supports STEAM. Our Assassin´s Creed: Brotherhood message board is available to provide feedback on our trainers or cheats.

I was the same, when I press activate. Games will kick me out.
