When StarCraft 2 came out, I did the single player campaign and used a trainer with no ill effect, I don't see why it matters if you decide to cheat in "offline" single player mode.
I mainly use the trainer to accrue money fast and buy rare items, other than that, dying isn't really a concern, with potions and such...

From what I understand there is no offline. You have to be connected to the internet at all times to play the single player in Diablo III.
I'm sure BLizzard will be like "Well use our in-game cheat codes." :P
What codes? D2 never had any nor d1 so. GL
I used the trainer on SC2 but never online especially as it didnt work if other players where in a map with you so one day i was in an online coop and then everyone left but i wanted to stay and finish the map so i thought it would be no harm to finish it with the trainer, but no as it was online i was detected and instantly banned, but i have bought Diablo 3, i just hope theres a way of running it offline so a trainer wouldn't be detected, not that there is one yet anyway.
we have a way to detect if you are alone or with other players. still not sure what blizzard might do if we released working helpful options for this game to play as PRIVATE SOLO in the game..
best,
Cal
