I recently bought Endwar for PC from Ubisoft's UbiShop digital download service. I went on playing it for a while and thought that it would be great to have some kind of trainer for this. So I downloaded the Mega Trainer for patch version 1.0.02. The problem is, when I tried to run the game with the trainer, the game crashed. It works fine without it. I tried to look for some help with it, but I didn't find anything anywhere. At all. Zip. Nil. Nada. NOTHING.Not even on the Ubisoft or Cheathappens forums. So I decided to create this topic in hope that I am not the only person on planet Earth trying to use a trainer for an UbiShop download game. I'm wondering if some version of a trainer somewhere might just work, or if a completely new trainer has to be created for games from this service. I've asked the Ubisoft support if the game is coded differently, but the answer I got, "the functionality is the same as the retail version of the game" completely missed the point of my question.
In case you didn't understand that, the point of this thread is to discuss a possible trainer that could be compatible with the Ubishop download version of Tom Clancy's Endwar (version 1.0.02 appreciated.)

Have you disabled your Anti-Virus, Firewall and other security software?? It's very typical for antivirus and security applications to flag trainers as a virus or malware simply because of the way they are designed. This can cause problems such being unable to download trainers, extract trainers or successfully use trainer. Many antivirus products will simply block a trainer from injecting into the game and never even tell you. CHEAT HAPPENS scans all files with multiple scanners before uploading them to the website so that you can be sure our trainers contain no real viruses. You can usually add the trainer to your security software's exception list which will make it ignore the trainer and cause it to start working. Sometimes you may have to disable your security software while the game/trainer is in use. This can also include software such as Punkbuster which is designed to disable software such as trainers.

Yeah I did. Actually I can't keep the trainer on my computer with my Anti-Virus software on. It always detects the files as a trojans and quarantines them. Even when I tell the software to restore the files, it just takes them back into quarantine the moment restoration completes.
To be more specific, the game crashes whenever I try to start a level with the trainer activated. I am running EndWar v1.0.02 from the UbiShop digital download service. Does that help?
[edit]
Doing a bit more searching, it appears that the Ubishop download version of EndWar may have a diffent executable file, possibly to run without a CD. Assuming this is the case, would the Ubishop version (being one that has no CD) have the same executable as the D2D or Steam download versions? If it were, it would be a lot easier to look for trainers for my game.

Are you using Uplay ? If yes, it might be because of Uplay.
